So I started thinking about why I paint...Besides the fact that I just plain love to do it, I also want to "speak" to others through the painted canvas.   I want that if someone connects to a painting and desires to live with it, cost would not restrain her from having it.   My micro paintings are an attempt to paint for the masses...for people who don't have alot to spend but want to own an original oil painting. These quirky little paintings are all painted from life.   They are thickly painted in oil on oil-primed board and then varnished.
